With just one month into the year we have been on possibly the biggest roller coaster of emotions I can ever recall being on. It's been quiet an eventful start to the year. January is the biggest birthday month for our family so there has definitely been plenty of cake and birthday fun from the beginning to end.
This roller coaster of a month just as it had it's ups it also had it's downs. We lost a very important person in our family. As tough as it was it definitely brought us closer and reminded us all how important each day is. To be grateful for the time we have; to be the ones we love, to do the things we've always wanted to and to take plenty of pictures along the way.
It's been exactly a week since we have been back from our little adventure. This was the first time I had been outside of the states and it really was quite an adventure. I notice after going through all the photos that I took a lot of photos of dogs. I think I had just never seen so many stays in my life. I kept saving my left overs in a zip lock bag and although it was impossible I wished I could have fed them all. I also noticed that I took a lot of photos through the windshield, I felt that it was important since we spent a large part of our trip traveling from one town to the next, meeting different drivers, travelers and just listening to their stories.
It was a beautiful trip that could not have come at a better time. I am not exactly sure which part was my favorite since I liked different things from each of the places we visited. I can not wait for what is next, what ever that might be.
Pura Vida.
