STAR WARS: Where Science Meets Imagination at The Tech

Saturday, March 1, 2014

It's wild how fast time goes by, we went to the Star Wars exhibit on it's opening day sometime in October. We are now entering March and the exhibit is finally coming to an end on the 23rd of this month. I am not sure if everyday is similar to what we experienced on opening day but it was really something worth checking out.

On our visit we weren't one of the first hundreds of people to get in. We actually arrived later in the day, once the crowds had died down which was nice. As soon as we entered you knew you were in for a treat. Stormtroopers were walking around patrolling the museum along with different characters from the different films dressed in full costume. It was really neat to see the actual models and being able to recognize them from which one of the movies they belong to. It was hard to believe the actual size of the ships and to think how big they seemed watching them on tv.

I did not really take too many photos, it was pretty dark and most of the time was spent reading and just looking around. We also had the chance to ride in a little model of the Millenium Falcon which was really neat.
